Castleman Galleries offers a comprehensive, in house, custom framing service including the framing of original works on paper, board and canvas. Customers may choose frame moulding from several hundred samples displayed in the gallery. Similarly, a large sample range of specialty and conservation cotton rag mattboards are on display.
We specialise is conservation framing, employing reversible methods and quality, archival materials including cotton rag matt. Conservation framing provides a safe, benign environment in which to protect artworks.
Generally, all items being framed remain at the premises of Castleman Galleries in Black Rock, where custom framing is carried out and completed. The premises are secured with an alarm system and 24 hour video surveillance.
